| Aircraft Plywood |
 Our aircraft plywood is manufactured in Finland from specialy selected birch logs. Only five out of every hundred logs pass very strict quality control as suitable raw materials. Very thin plies guarantee the excellent bending characteristics and strength of our aircraft plywood. Thicknesses range from 0.4mm (1/64") 3-ply up to 12mm (1/2") 24-ply. Special Phenolic resin glue used is both weather and boil-proof. Stock sizes available are 48" x 48" and 60" x 60". Other sizes are also available on a special order basis. Germanischer Lloyds specifies manufacturing and grading rules.
Aircraft plywood is extremely versatile. As well as aircraft construction. It is used to make pianos, drums and other musical instruments, furniture, packaging, models, ornaments, saddles and even boomerangs.
